Princess and the Pea

In Year 2 the children have been engrossed with the story of the Princess and the Pea.  The children couldn't believe the princess could feel a pea under 20 mattresses and 20 feather beds!  In class we have sequenced the story ourselves and then written our own rewrite using exciting adjectives with suffixes and interesting verbs.  We will soon be looking at a twist on the traditional tale with Mini Grey's  The Pea and the Princess.  we will then be planning our own twist on the story and writing our own versions.
